I tried to do a patch to the 4.85 version to become 4.86 (make an update) but it just crashed (probably cos of my v1.0 of freelancer regardless if I have applied the patch given from Microsoft to be 1.1 version, and that patch was successfully installed, still v1.0 shows me). link for the final 4.86 version given on the site: is NOT WORKING, there are NO mirrors and they even after 1day are not reset (that 5min is lie!).

I really don't know how to explain my two different issues much better in English. Now this might not worked due to my original freelancer version what is 1.0 (even after I applied my 1.1 patch what Microsoft added, was still 1.0 version on). What I did TRY it was to download the 4.85 version and UPDATE it with the 4.86 patch what was given on forum, and that is only an update for the previous version.

I am unable to DOWNLOAD the version 4.86 from the links given !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So how could I install the game if I can t download it? We would appreciate any kind of info to this matter or any kind of technical assistance if there is such thing. Does this game not running on this windows platforms? Does the Microsoft patch of v1.1 not working on this windows? But I have windows 7 ultimate 64b and my friends are on win. Now I don't know what we did wrong here or not. it's just stuck there at "searching on global". Is this because we have freelancer version 1.0 ?! (tho we applied the patch of 1.1 from Microsoft) but it still show us 1.0 and not 1.1. At the moment the mod is in Alpha with only.
While I am attempting to make the mod very close to the feel of Freelancer there are some differences some related to engine limitations while others are judgment calls of mine due to personal choice or for game play reasons.
